Who Can Start Up A Recording Studio?

The Author of this program answers this in his own words:

Some of the first questions I get about starting this sort of business are:

Who can start up a recording studio?

Who’s qualified?

Who has the skill?

What sort of person can really survive in this business?

I’m here to tell you that anyone can be successful in this business.

I recognize that sounds difficult to believe. But it is true.

You see a studio is just like any other business.

You have a product or service to offer,

& people come to you searching that product/service.

Then they pay you in exchange. Easy, right?

That’s exactly why anyone can get into this business.

Sure, there’s plenty of “special knowledge” that one must have in order to record music and have it sound great.

But that’s absolutely not the only skill needed for starting this business.

Let me offer you a good example:

A lot of you may already know, I didn’t graduate from recording school.

I attended school for one year, only had a handful of actual experiences in the studio, then I threw in the towel.

School wasn’t worth my time – since they didn’t teach you the practical things you’re required to know about recording.

Only after just a year away from school,

I was operating a successful studio.

Yes, I was making hard cash and bands were soliciting me to record them.

My point is, without formal instruction in recording, or even a good deal experience, you are able to still start a recording studio business.

Learn the principles of owning this type of business,

and the technical skills will come with practice.

My first recordings weren’t very good, but my clients were pleased and loved working with me.

That was entirely all it took – the checks were written, the money deposited in my account, and I was in business.

Later on, my recordings were much better, and I was able to charge way a lot more for my services.

Remember, if you would like to start up a recording studio business –

no problem.

You are able to do it.

Just study how the business organization model works.

How to acquire clients.

How to commercialize your studio.

And everything else will click.

Trust me, some youngster with all the recording technique in the world

can begin a studio… but it will fail rapidly if they don’t comprehend the business.

Meanwhile, you will be able to make a whole slew of profits with half the recording skill – because you’re the savvy businessperson.
